At Kronos, we work on honing our problem solving skills, with a technical knack to it. Our goal is to impart knowledge in the field of IT. We work together to promote a technology-focused mindset and an urge to dive deeper into the developments in the sector that affect our daily lives.
We also organise speaker sessions and workshops, led by industry professionals who enlighten the students about the actual scenario out there in the world.
Finally, we organise India’s biggest student run hackathon - hackCBS, which is highly renowned among some of the best tech communities all around! hackCBS presents an astounding opportunity to strengthen one’s sense of responsibility and management skills.
Established in 2012, with the motto - “Let it emerge”, Kronos - The Tech Society of SSCBS, is a community accommodating like-minded individuals with a passion for technology and the flexibility to keep evolving with it.
hackCBS, our annual flagship event has not only created its place in the DU circuit but has also created its reach beyond the national boundaries. We frequently organize abundant knowledge sharing sessions like PyDelhi meetup,
workshops by coding blocks, coding ninjas and many more also focusing on overall personality development. Kronos eye at providing a healthy environment to enhance our skillset by interacting with the prominent performers with the help
of workshops and lectures.
Our individuality in unity helps us to arise as a team and still exercise an area of expertise, prevailing over others.
Conducted on September 23rd, 2022, with 104 students, the session featured Mr. Ayon Roy, Executive Data Scientist at Neilson IQ. During this session, students learned about Python's importance to Data Science and its extensive applications.
On January 3rd, 2023, Kronos hosted an interactive session on Backend as a Service (BaaS), led by Ms. Pratim Bhosle, a Developer Advocate at Nhost. 52 participants from all over India had the opportunity to develop a Notes App using BaaS under her expert guidance.
A collaborative event by Kronos and Eduhub Community on February 7th, 2023, introduced 179 students to the world of Web 3.0. Industry professionals like Mr. Sanket Agarwal, Product Manager at QuillAudits, and Mr. Rahul Sethi, Founder and Metaverse Coach, shared their expertise, inspiring students with valuable insights.
A workshop organized by Kronos in collaboration with techXR on December 22nd, 2022, introduced 140 first-year students to the captivating world of virtual reality (VR). Through immersive experiences and interactive sessions, students gained hands-on familiarity with VR technology.
On April 10th, 2023, Kronos collaborated with EDII Ahmedabad as their regional partner for the Sustainability boot camp under G20 Summit with 112 participants. By bringing together people with diverse skills and perspectives, the event encouraged participants to think outside the box and come up with new ideas for sustainable development.
On April 19th, 2023, Kronos organized an engaging Gaming Lounge during Crescendo, the Annual Fest of SSCBS, which drew the participation of over 250 students. The Gaming Lounge featured popular arcade games, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.
